wtb dr 650 se, anyone contemplating selling one soon?


Missus LOVES jumping on the back of bike now, so I want something with lots of low down grunt.

anyone know anyone selling one? dont really want to buy brand new, cause i plan to spend a fair bit on extras,

anyone after an 06 xr250L? with or without extras ^^

it handles me and missus fine as we both weigh nothing, but i want something that i can throw a 28litre tank on and lots of gear aswell :P

I might be able to help.

I am contemplating selling my fully 'tricked', safari ready, 05 DR650. It has just very sucessfully completed 18000km in the harshest parts of Oz and while showing a few battle scars( nothing new plastics wouldn't fix), it is in tip-top order.42000km total.
When I say fully kitted, you could NOT spend another $ making it better.

I would however, be looking around 8K, but this is with 5K's worth(new) xtra kit.

Just a thought, if you are interested at all, I can send detailed parts list and pix.

2 x DR 650's on Tardme at the moment ... both in Auckland afaik

Go check out the Africa twin in Picton thats on tm :2thumbsup You can hack a bit of foam out of the seat to get your feet closer to the ground like i did

aaaaaah yes, but too much plastic and weight for me to throw around, argh :P

just went for a spin with buggs before, my bike is really cute for me, be nice if i can get a dr lower and feel as good as my plush xr hehe
