Holy crap! It really did rain (and it was 75f and sunny the day i wrote this). Freezing sleet rain. But still rain. I need to take advantage of you guys living in the future more often. There is a boxing match coming up I'm thinking of putting money down on.....

There has been a really big paradigm shift with both parties over the last decade.

Many of the issues Obama won on are traditional Republican platform things.

The Republican party lost its damn mind in the late 90's and though taking over the world and forcing everyone across the globe to adhere to the proper conservative christian way of life was the right path for the country to take.

I guess the best way to boil it down into two sentences would be this:

Dem's = Personal freedoms with a safety net when things fail
Rep's = Adhere to our way of life or else....
