Gidday
Some of you might remember me askign about building a trike... thats about to start as I've got some shed space coming up soon
But this has left me with a small issue of finishing off my licence 17yrs on my learners :pinch:
It means I'm gona have to do some time on a 250cc so I've decided to have some fun with it and build up a little hardtail rat bike similar to this
http://www.kikker5150.com/ron1.jpg
I'd like to run some shortened shocks up front and build my own hardtail frame with a springer seat... and then just modify an old steel tank to give it a bit of looks and thats it
I started asking round and I've found an early DR250 well two of them for $150, problem is the certifier I'm dealing with is away on his honeymoon and I don't want to muk the guy with the bikes round
Anybody done some thing like this or have a copy of the low volume cert rules for bikes (not listed on there web site :angry2:)

Cheers Reece

I would think you could ask Gil Tuffin (Hamilton) or Alex Gee (AKL), both are bike certifiers
