Had stacks of those old Protar 1/9th scale and stuff, but gave them to a young collector some years ago - Yamaha 250 V4, Honda 305/6, MV 350/3, Derbi125/V2 etc....

Well the last 2 posts of mine were old pics, but ya got me woundering what else was up in the spare room I hadent seen for a while and found these along with 11 trucks and endless classic cars.
So who knows what these bikes are? I know the NSR a V4 raced in the GP but what about the TZ750 (I think) a inline 4 and the Kawa.... that slips my mind, but as it has brake and head lights I'm thinking it was a 24hr racer from the 80's

I've only ever built plastic model ones, not ready-made so that REALLY makes me a sad bastard :o
The Ducati was the first, bought for a Father's Day present many moons ago. The BMW kit was given to me by the guy who bought my BMW K100RS which was a really nice thought, and I bought the 'bird and painted it to match mine.
They really tried my patience and doubt that I'll bother to build any more. All of them nearly ended up being tossed against a wall at least once during their construction!

The V8 Guzzi and BMW are Protar..... I'd love to do there Honda 250 six, dident relise MV did a 3cyl..... I see that Italere (*sp) has brought the moulds from Protar and are back in production.

Hey D, the yellow YZR is a 500, did yours come with Kenny Roberts in knee down mode ? Guess not, yeah the green one is a Kawasaki 1000 a George Goudier or something like that, couple of French guys that cleaned up the endurance series for years.
So while the Tamiya kits are closer to $50 bucks each, you can spend close to that again if you need to buy all the paints!
OK so whats this?
