Hi All, after the sweat, tears and fun of rebuilding my GSXR750, I am about to do it all again with a GSXR250 '87, Hoping someone might be able to suggest someone that is wrecking one of these machines, as I need quite a few parts? (Hopefully near ChCh) I will keep you all posted, and in the months ahead, post a few photo's of the restored beast!

You're in luck! A local KBer does indeed have one in his back yard!

Yeah, i know a mate whos engine suffered rather harsh ends (88...(i think) gsxr250), but with some tickering there and here it will be fine... actually no, the piston head blew a hole in the engine, but he says its fixable, call me (i just PMed you) and I can get his number

Gav, the brake caliper should be the same as some model RGV's, possibly M or N models, I know the brake pads are interchangable between the RRK and some models of RGV as I used to bed in a mates RGV pads on my RRK for his race bike.
An RGV front wheel should also be usable, particularly off an early RGV J, K or L model, not sure about the later model ones as they use USD forks and I suspect the rim may be wider.
An early RGV axle may also be usable but you may or may not need different axle spacers. If you know someone with a RGV it could be worth trying to put their wheel on your bike and see if any combination of the RGV and RRK spacers do the job. Again the later M & N axles won't work as they are the USD forks.
