does anyone know where to get one in CHCH???

all i can find are the jetski ones (reverse switching - constant on) or 130 dollar suzuki atv ones that are quite shit.

is it possible to reverse the jetski ones or are they readily avaliable somewhere??

There are motorcycle specific ones available. I used a jetski one which had four terminals. Naturally I wired up the wrong two first. One opposing set seemed to be on when the tag was in and one off when the tag was in so you could use it either way. At the boatshop there were two sets available - one in a blister pack for $27 with written instructions and one in a snap close bag for $12, they were identical parts! Use a multimeter to see which terminals are which if you have one available.

I made my own using a two pin plug form Dick Smith for about $8-$10 because most that you can buy are rubbish,

Actually yes - in line(series) so either kill switch will work independantly. Creating yet another possible short circuit point in your electrics if you solder like I do.

10-13-4 STREET CIRCUITS–ALL CLASSES
All machines to be fitted with an operational tether kill switch. The tether kill switch must
not be fitted in such a way that it can be overridden and must be securely attached to the
rider. This switch is to be additional to the regular handlebar mounted kill switch.
A number of machines, mainly historic and classic classes, are technically difficult to
modify to accept any type of kill-switch, tether or otherwise. These machines will be
exempt from this rule on both the following conditions being met:
a. The machine must have a self contained magneto ignition, and
b. The engine must stop when the throttle is closed. It must not idle.
