Ok my lovelies,
So, you are the designated driver and cannot have a real beer.
All about you are necking ice cold Tui's, Red's, Steinies, Speights or whatever and you have to make do with a low alcohol beer. Which one would you go for?

Steinie or amstel. But don't have a "real" beer before hand or you'll realise how shit they taste.

Amstel light would be the best light beer i've ever had..
But that would be like saying the fastest 250, or the biggest tic tac..

If you are going to be a designated driver, you shouldnt be drinking anything at all with alcohol in it, no matter how light it is.
For me if I cant have the real thing there is no point in tasting second best.
Put the jug on ta.

I stick with Amstel as it seems to be the one you can find most places, it tastes ok but then all commercial beers (ie DB etc) taste like junk after some of the micro brewery stuff that is around.

One trap to watch for when drinking amstel light on tap is that you don't mistakenly get amstel heavy, whether it be by accident, or one of your mates thinking you need to HTFU.
