Ok a cople of quick questions.

I have a gsxr400 i use as a track bike.

1- how often should i change the oil. Ive done 2 trackdays on the oil in it but the thing is reving between 8 and 10k constantly so am wondering wether to change now or not.

2-can i get pod filters for this bike as i want a bit more power and thought pod filters with bigger jets might help.
the carbs are twin throat jobs so can i get pods for these?

This is the same motor as the Impulse, circa 1987ish?
The twin throat carbs are an orphan in that bike as I recall, and use a strange, non standard jet. I had to drill mine out, which is not ideal to say the least. You will need around 118 main jets and lift the needles. Can't recall what the pilot jet was.
Don't expect much more power without the airbox, and possibly the opposite.
The oval throats make fitting pods hard to impossible. the PO of my latest impulse engine made some oval to round adapters to run huge boy racer cone filters
