noRRus is a dealer out of Oz who I bought my H&B crash bars off. See below for details.

My understanding is that if you have 12 months warranty on a product that you have purchased and it brakes or doesnt work within the warranty period that the product is covered as isnt that warranty stands for. They should not be aloud to get away with not coming thru at their end and replacing the faulty product which you happily purchased from them at the start to now being unhappy with your purchase. Have you spoken to the small claims bureau here to see what they have to say about your situation?.

Were these purchased from aus? If so NZ law has no juristiction on an aussie based company.
If you import the product yourself then the NZ law recognises you as the person responsible for rectifying claims against the consumer gaurantees act.....
One of the risks of purchasing via the interweb.

Yeah i do realise the risk of buying overseas but even then WITH the web you would think they would want to protect the reptation.
Which is why after trying to resolve it have now put my thoughts up here & Adv rider.
I'm sure they are normally fine but just a warning that if you do buy these products form noRRus or Hepco & Becker chances are they will just say 'tough shit' !!

Try going directly to H&B in Europe and see what they say. They may be able to turn the heat up on retailer, and maybe even "encourage" the Aussie distributor to "make the problem go away". Good luck
