G'day everyone.
I'm originally from Whangarei but moved to Perth, Western Australia in 2001. My riding history in NZ was road riding, road racing, motocross, pony express and cross country. I was very involved with the Whangarei Motorcycle Club for many years (I was president when I moved to Perth - the only way to get out of committee positions?) but am now involved with the Trail & Enduro Club of WA (a past president but still involved on the committee). I generally just ride enduro now and I have raced in the ISDE in Taupo in 2006 (DNF'd on day 2) and the A4DE in Coffs Harbour in 2007 (Silver medal) and most notably finished 31'st in the 2008 Australasian Safari on my KTM 640 Adventure.
I am putting together a team for the 2009 Australasian Safari - "Team <insert principal sponsor here> Kiwi", of which I guarantee you'll hear plenty about in the coming months as we build up to the event in August 2009. There are four Kiwis involved at the moment, two residing in WA and two coming across from NZ. Watch for more information in the adventure and/or racing forum threads in Kiwi Biker and also on ADVRider's NZ section.
That's it from me for now.
Ciao
