Yea, the Swedish guy. I was just wondering how many of you know of him or even have one of his DVD's? This isn't a thread for words of how stupid/dangerous he is I just wanted to know how widely known he is? Reading the comments on his videos and seeing all the cookie cutter ghost rider copys gearing up like him on gixxas running from cops it seems he is pretty well known in western europe?

What kind of stuff does he do in the full videos?

#1 Ghost Rider - the final ride

Its not bad short and only one rider so quiet entertaining to watch

#2 Ghost Rider - goes wild

The second one he got a little more funding and and is quiet long and there is more then one rider (there is some funny stuff in the extras)

#3 Ghost Rider- Goes crazy in Europe

much like the second one with car's racing and teasing the popo

#4 Ghost Rider- Goes undercover

I like this one he dresses up a K5 like a cop bike and Chases cars and other bikes (more funny stuff in the extras) and some crazy shit on a Hyabusa!!

I've got all 5. The 5th one is odd. He spends half his time in a Subaru. Lame.

His name is supposedly Patrik Furstenhoff and also has the world record in wheelie. But who knows if it's really him...

From what I heard he wanted to piss off the creators of the 'Getaway in Stockholm' series, where they race cars in central Stockholm and the movie features a fake police car. So he made this insane trip between Sthlm and Uppsala on his bike and filmed it... and people loved it...

Nuts...

the black prince on the perphiphere (or how ever you spell it) is far greater than all the ghost rider stuff. ok so its not as amusing but its one of the craziest bike videos ever made (probably ever will be made). the full video is awesome.

hes the original idiot with a video camera and a stupidly fast motorcycle.

the periphere (or something similar) is the ring road around paris. all these street riders like to go there and basically pay hommage to the dude. unfortunatly none of them have the balls to go apeshit at peak hour.

I feel a little bummed that the black prince guy is dead now... It said they have broken the time many times since but like you said probably not at rush hour like that:drool: So hes like a legend over there or something? I'll have to ride France one day! So long as the French don't sink any ships I travel on! lol

Pascale - the Black Prince - became famous when he completed a circuit of "Le Peripherique", the motorway that encircles Paris in hardly any time at all. ...especially since he did it in the middle of the rush hour. There's a segment in the original video where he talks about how he passes cars that have a 1 meter gap between the wingmirrors at relative speeds of more than 100 km/h. He also talks about how he is going too fast to brake if anyone turns in front of him and how he needs to accelerate and turn faster to avoid an accident.

All in all pretty insane. He crashed and died when he was making a second movie trying to beat his original record. Ghost Rider apparently did a night run of the same road as a tribute to Pascale.

Just for the record Ghost Rider is a pretty sensible guy compared to Pascale.

yar, rumor has it he died. no ones quite sure what happened to him is my understanding. PB did a mean tribute to him earlier in the year.

yea you watch ghostrider vids and he brakes when he sees a dodgy gap. none of that in paris. hehehe. :shit::shit::shit::shit::Punk::Punk::Punk::Punk::s hit::shit::Punk::Punk:

PB?

Anyway - here's part 1 of the circuit. He does it in 11 minutes - takes around 26 mins travelling at the legal speed limit.
And he died during his second attempt.

I think he means Patrik B(ghost rider). Rumour has it there were numerous GR's in the begining one of which being an Isle of Man racer, ICEMAN. And in an interview with PB he says hes met Le Prince Nois and the rumour of him dying was made to take the media and fan focus off him as he no longer wanted to do it. Which does fit as suposedly there is no record of a motorcyclist with a camera strapped to his bike dying on that highway which would have been noted. That video was on a 1988(at least, maybe older) gsxr750! And comparing the two videos of GR and black prince i would say with a modern bike black prince would finish minutes ahead of ghost rider. He(GR) slows down to make trafic gaps, BP just accels through them haha

The guy is Swedish, lives in Germany now with wife and kid. He got he world record in wheelie both single person and with a passenger.

His name is Patrik Furstenhoff and he is an active member on a Swedish site named www.sporthoj.com, nickname Furstenhoff.

Why he made the run between Sthlm and Uppsala is still unclear i think. But some say he had some trouble with the police ( i think they beat him blue and black on a wet Saturday night).
Another story is he just wanted to make an controversy to Get Away In Stockholm. Bikes are better then cars.
