Saw that at Page & Blackmoores (If our public library had half the books that shop carries I'd spend more time reading). Intriguing stuff. He's also been on aTV shouldn'tbe alive or sumting show.
I might take you guys up on borrowing some books this winter.
What I would love to see is some old time dakar movies (like Dust to glory type) There aresome epic tales to be told in long races like this. I have watched theold BMW 3 parter one on you tube which is cool.

Oooooh looksie... looks interesting...
i watched the motobiking Madigan line dvd last nite - Frick me Tug boat & farmer Phil are hard bastards. If they're saying it was hard then you can believe them. Those Drs were bloody thrashed after the end of it.
I also watched the coast to coast which wasn't as good as due to the limited amount of filming time.
Also watched my fav character Charlie doing the dakar... again... for the 4th time...
we may have to pass a few to Rigley to pass the time between lagers.
WW I wouldn't mind borrowing that peking to paris dvd & giving that a go.

Just been to TT3D.
It was quite good.
Would have been better if it was properly 3D or completely 2D.

Yeah I saw it on SUnday night. Unfortunately Sunday morning I'd watched 'on-bike road race experience' which has footage from the Northwest 200, Isle of Bloke, Ulster GP and Southern 100. So the whole quasi-3d thing was lost on me, it didn't seem any better than a 2d fillum.
Points for trying though. Trouble is, I reckon they need to use 3d helmet cams for it to really work.

I think they should really keep the 3d for cartoons. In retrospect I feel it is a movie that doesn't really need to be seen at the cinemas.
Like 'Faster' a screening at home in front of the TV whre you've got some room to lean round the corners - and replay the crashes in slow mo would be bettter.

Cool. I got one today from Richmond. They had 3. One read 22psi, one 24 and one 24.5...
I'll put one in the bag on each bike for safety.
