Not really a review, Just my opinion I guess but, in my opinion, one of the best films I've seen since ages ago.

A little slow to start with maybe but it builds into a peculiar yet successful mix of, Graphic thriller comedy, I know!

I laughed more at this than the so called comedies of late,Packed with English hard-boy humour despite the main characters being Irish, it was violent but not stupidly unrealistic multi machine gun shootout crap that would send me to sleep, were it not for the excessive noise and it was even a little touching at times.

I've deliberately avoided giving the plot away because A. there is one for a change and B. I ain't no bloomin spoiler mmkay.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend you go have a look see soon. A cut above in my opinion. :niceone:

Anyone seen it yet ?

have seen it - was quite surprised as the the trailer kinda despicted it differently than what the film was actually like. Enjoyed it.......

I've seen it about 8 months ago. Liked it, esp since I just came back from Belgium at the time.

Never been, I trust it's not really that violent

I'd like to see it, having been to Belgium recently(ish).
Didn't go to Bruges though, just Brussels, Vilvoorde, and some little town I can't remember the name of.
I like the dark Irish humour too. Must be the Irish ancestry or summat - my great-grandparents or mebbe their parents (can't remember) were from Kilkenny.

I've heard a couple of reviews on the radio and it sounds like a must-see.

Brugge's a great wee town though, I won't use the French spelling 'cos if my pro-Flemish Tranmere / Royal Antwerp drinking buddies ever found out....

The best analogy I've heard is that In Bruges is a british Coens brothers film.

Ditto on best fillum since ages ago.

It is a must see, especially as all we seem to get these days is stiller/sandler type stuff. I reckon 8.5/10

That is a very good analogy mate.
