i taught my n00b girlfriend of sorts how to ride last night.
i had no bike for it, so the thousand would have to do, she had only ridden a scooter before.
i showed her how to ride it, i hopped on the back, lent over the controls and helped her.
she did real well, il teach her more about the gearshift later.
so the GSXR1000 is a good learner bike, if you respect it:Punk:
not hard to ride at all...

It's the respect part that many n00b riders don't possess!

when it got dark i showed her what it could do, i took it up to 255, full gas in every gear, the front wheel lifting to third..
then we went back to her place, and i showed her how i could ride again.

Yup, they're often nice & light and very well balanced with a nice clutch and throttle. Plus a nice fat planted rear wheel. Not to mention enough acceleration to keep up with an RS125.

Just been to a funeral today.
I won't be happy if I hear about more motorcyclists dying because you think you can pass off tips in this way.
