I'm coming over to NZ for 3 months of riding - and to get away from the dreaded UK winter. Prob going to buy a KLR650, so that will need some rear pannier support bars making up and possibly some front crash bars... I can do all the design work, just need a recommendation of someone who's handy with tubework in the Christchurch area. Alternatively, somwhere that can cut and fold sheet (got an idea for an ally pannier support system.) cheers, Kitch

I hope you enjoy your time in New Zealand. The weather has been great recently.
I suggest Dirt Action Services in chch if you need anything done to your bike. They may also be able to suggest a local fabricator.

Ah, I've heard about the Burt Munro do from Moki... so Invercargill looks like it'll have to be on the agenda that weekend for sure! The BMF here in the UK is absolutely massive; the big clothing suppliers (Frank homas, Hein Geriike etc) usually do a ridiculous "everything £20" ($50) at 4pm on the closing sunday which includes all the $800 dollar jackets etc... they may have a press stud missing or a stitch that needs redoing but... Any of you thinking of being in the UK any given may or september, DONT miss the bmf
