Amen brother! Amen!
I hear what you're saying. My Falco is a completely different machine now.
Dr Bob has done his thing to mine not a month ago.
Next bike it will be the 1st mod NOT the last.

I hope they checked the things i outlined in your other thread relating to wear..fwiw
Also unless Ohlins have changed the installation sheet,do not mount the damper as told,it is for the 97 TLS without the fuel tank damper bracket.
Using that method on a 98+ TLS will result in the damper not being vertical, easily checked on 98+ TLS (or updated 97) look for the top eye bigger offset being inboard, the smaller offset will be outward to compensate for the damper bracket.
It may have been updated but was not the case when i installed my TLS Ohlins.
I will even go as far to say if installed incorrectly, full damper compression may drive the damper lower casting into the swingarm lug resulting in the casting breaking.
The kit i bought (Colemans Suzuki) came with two inner tube spacers for that width measurement change (subframe or damper bracket to inner support bracket).
It was not hard to pick up on the trial install but have seen a few cases where it was missed simply because the instructions were followed.

That is now well catered for as there is a different bracket to account for the undertank changes between model years.

I'd be the same if I ever replaced the RSVR. The Ohlins is a luxury item but once you've had it, you'll never go back!
