I kind of think I should be, but on balance to avoid disappointment, I'll stick with the recordings made in their prime.
Let us know if they're still singing "Hope I die before I get old."

Without Entwhistle and Moon it's a non-event for me. I went to an Entwhistle Bass Clinic many years ago and was gob-smacked. He never used more than a 10th of his talent in The Who. IMO of course.

Yes, I tend to agree. Then again, current setup is all we will have as the other two are not coming back.
The only one that could replace Keith is Animal from The Muppets!
A story I heard long time ago: Keith was living nextdoor to Charles Bronson. Bronson was peed off re all the partying and complained. Keith jumped on one of his bikes, went straight through the hedge and ripped up Bronsons lawns.

Ooh, ooh, ooh,
Quick Who claim to fame here.
I did my first ever gig in the same place that The Who did theirs (when they were the High Numbers)
The venue was the St John Bosco Youth Club in Wembley, NW London.
.....and
Many years later I was in a band that played at the Marquee Club in Soho, Central London and we sighned our band name on the dressing room door next the The Who...also saw the words "Keef Woz Ere" burned into the door under the Who's name.
Do I get a prize?

I got dragged to see them about five years ago when they still had John Entwistle.
Don't build your expectation up too much.. they're not that good live.

Eek, I've been merged. Am still going ta enjoy going. Peter better still be playing. Loved the unplugged version of "Pinball Wizard" He did a "The Secret Policemen's Ball".
Anyone close by that doesn't mind a couple of bikers crashing @ their place that night. Would save having ta ride back ta Whangarei afterwards.
