The newly formed Wellington Motorcycle Event Committee will be bringing to you for your biking pleasure a new Riding event early 2009.

What we want from you is some feed back.
So to get the ball rolling and give you some ideas about the feed back we need to deliver something youll want to be part of and enjoy.....

Where do you want to go/loop
Do you want to be fed (stop and have a pub meal or BBQ at a nice spot)
Do you want prize give aways
Do you want to say "i did that and got the T Shirt"
Saturday or Sunday?
Would you be prepared to travel down or up to wellington for the right event?

Im probably just scratching the surface here so fire away.

Well - if you want to get really trendy... How about a Moto Giro type event around Wellington... Sort of Targa for little italian bikes... except we don't have many little italian bikes so just for little old bikes... (cough - 'other' classes are allowed as well)

have you herd of the Holloway Drive in Pictures out at Bidiford, this could be a good ride with classic motorcycle movie, and BBQ, bookings are required, he works on a donations only basis, to get around copy write.
I have Freds contact details if you are interested, PM me.

Old vehicles are a lot less threatening to councils etc if you need roads closed... Keeps the speeds down too - I can't see why you couldn't organise a sub 200cc event - it would be fun!
