Now that i have the ohlins on the back of the tls i'm noticing everything the front end is and isn't doing. (and no i don't want to spend any more cash).
The main thing is that it ramps up real hard with a hard sharp hit or chatter, would a lighter oil weight or a progressive spring help? or just reduce the preload a little. it doesn't dive during braking and feels nice on smooth roads.

no, no, and no. Are the forks cartridge or damper rod? If they are damper rod, slap a set of emulators in. $330 ish for the emulators, plus oil, if you do it yourself.

The forks are cartridge type so emulators are non applicable.
Revalve the stock rebound pistons and we fit a high flow base piston set with a very specific preloading shim stack. Linear rate springs.
Progressive springs will actually make the square edge bump compliance WORSE. Lighter oil will only affect bleed action and not when its on the shim stacks.
Our mod ( and valving spec that no-one else is privy to and why should they when we spent countless hours working it out) makes a HUGE difference. There is no quick and cheap fix because fundamentally the problem is with those pistons. PM us for pricing, it may be less than you think. Also, pm Sensei, we did this mod to his Ohlins forks ( yes we can make those better too )
