Hi all, I'm pretty new to NZ and have finally got my bike sorted afterbringing
it over from the uk (TRX850)
One question, back in the uk there are loads of places bikes go to meet up ,box hill, ace cafe, devils bridge and many more.
are there any here in NZ? i see loads of rides organised but i just wondered
if there were any meeting places where bikers just hang out?

Shit i've just read through the question and it sounds so freekin gay.

Nothing here like boxhill or Ace cafe mate. nearest thing I know to those would be the Real Thur Night Ride in wellington on Thur nights. Or the summit of Rimutaka hill on a Sunday. Bot nothing compared to boxhill.

most weekend mornings , you can catch a ton of them at the BP Bombay off the southern motorway outside Dorkland..

i normally ride alone due to the large Muppet contingent that forms within group rides

The RPM bar in Cambridge
Most weekends at the Coroglen pub
Okarori Pub

Is the Keg in Otara still a bikers bar? Someone pinched my Triumph from there years ago.

Gas stations are usually the meet point.

Westgate Shell, BP Botany, BP Autobahn are probably the major ones in Auckland. Plus a few that i'm missing.

But hang out wise there's always Coroglen pub, Puhoi Pub, Bar Africa and more..
