Another street magic problem

hey guys

i had been riding around for a while on the street magic with only one bolt holding the exhaust onto the engine underneath, went up to scootling, got its fixed and on the ride home it was sweet, ran out of gas jst down the road from my house but didnt have ne cash to fill it up str8 away, left it over night as i had other things to do and went to fill it up in the morning, it was fine on the way to the petrol station then...

half way back home it decides it doesnt wanna go over 30kmh and going up hills it.. well doesnt it goes at like 1kmh lol
anyone have anyideas on what cud be the problem? ive been searching thru KB and over the net but havent found anything so far.

Bad fuel would be my first guess...

Empty the tank and try new fuel... Might pay to drain the float bowl too...

If you've run it out of gas, you WILL have sucked any crap from the bottom of your fuel tank into the carb or fuel lines. Either that, or water has got into the fuel system somehow. If it runs like a bag of shit, I suggest drain the carb bowl, blow air thru the jet, fresh fuel and you should be sweet. Been there, done that......
