Now been on the bike for year and half I guess and it seems I am always trying to prioritise and save for the next piece of gear! After initial gear up I have now upgraded boots, went from CAN helmet to Shark, Cordura pants to kevlar to leathers, clear visor to tinted, rain pants, neck warmer, balaclava.....next is waiting for Qausi's new gloves now and on distant horizon good back protector, leather jacket to match the pants etc etc so the question is do you ever get to the point when you stop having a wish list?? (this does not even include the bike itself!!!!!)

By the time that happens stuff is usually wearing out.

Why would you want your wish list to come to an end...nothing more to look forward to as you have it all? How sad!

Yeah I know what you're saying celticbhoy. I've spent an arm and a leg on bike gear recently.
Now that I can't balance on my bike properly, I wish I'd just kept the arm and leg!;)

Did you manage to get all your gear made in green and white hoops by the way?

You can subscribe to channel 67 on the celtic website for 5 pounds a month and get all the games delayed , but thats not bad , you do need a broadband connection though. hope this helps kind of straying from the motorcycle thing i might get in trouble with the law!!

Yeah, the buying gear thing goes on forever. My current gear totals to around $3000, and I know that it's all gonna need replacing in the next few years...
Then you've got bags, tyres, chain'n'sprockets, battery, bulbs, etc etc etc.
It's an expensive toy alright...

I have a simple plan. Buy quality. Yes it's bloody expensive but after 16 years I'm looking to replace the VERY knackered Daytona Highway boots that have been dry (goretex) and warm. The uppers are fine but the soles are more holey than a Sunday Sermon! Jacket getting worn out too .... 12 years old, goretex Frank Thomas, Gloves are lovely Dianese race and are about 8 years old and going strong. Dianese race leather jeans with all the CE armour 8 years old too.

Wish list - replace with similar quality, that's all, probability on these wages - slim.
