Anybody know what's going on in the Hutt Valley?
Have seen police cars, armed offenders heading out east (Taita/Naenae possibly south of there) for the past three hours, ambulances are endless and just saw the SAS (Special Air Service) heading out there too.
Choppers as well.....
WTF is going on out there?????

NO - Not Armed Offenders. What part of Speical Air Service don't you understand?
I mean the SAS-STG. Special Tactics Group of the Special Air Service.
It's not often the Armed Offenders can't cope with a domestic situation. It's got to be major to fly the STG in from Papakura's "Rennie Lines".

And they called the SAS in for that? I'm going out on a limb here to say that no one other than the "armed defenders" (lol) went in there. I don't think the SAS go out for anything short of a serious terrorism threat.

And exactly what FJrider said. Somewhat like unicorns. Similar in that you will likely never see one, different in that the unicorn can't kill you 28 different ways with it a paperclip :msn-wink:
