Hi all, I've just bought a Suzuki Vinson 500cc 2003 Model. It's had a very hard life (came off a dairy farm next to the sea), however the plastics have all been replaced & it does look very smart & modern. It's got the auto trans & it has an absolute shitload of grunt compared to my previous quads.
There's a slight amount of piston slap especially when cold & the starter motor fires up but doesn't engage for some reason & it needs new brake pads all round. I went into Suzuki here in Dunedin on Saturday & the prices there seemed over the hill so I was thinking about doing the servicing myself.
Could anyone advise me on:
What type of oil to replace it with given the piston slap & slight amount of smoke
Where to get my parts in Dunedin
