This last W/E I was at Barbagallo assisting my mate Dave H at the W.A round of the Aust Historic Championship.
Unfortunately Dave had some electrical gremlins, but it was an enjoyable W/E.
Lots of nice machinery being raced and ridden to the track.
I'll submit a few samples. I am on the left in the first pic.
The RTV is an interesting machine. I thought it looked rather special. Apparently it is only one of four ever built by an Australian builder in the 90's, based on a Vincent. If anyone knows more, please tell.

Great photo's Zadok - excellent. Is that a CB350 your Mate is campaigning? The Laverda looks great. How did the CBX sound when fired up? ;)

Yep, it's a CB350 alright. I really like the look of Laverda's. This one is one of the triples. That particular CBX didn't hit the track, I was just in awe of the size of the motor across the frame. They did have another racing.

I was thinking of going out on the Sunday, but the heavy rain showers sort of put me off, so I ended up putting in strainer posts for a new fence..........:(

You should have gone, Jon. There was only one brief fall around mid-day. Hope to see you on Saturday at Northam for the M/C Festival.:D

Re the RTV - "In 1996, a partnership was formed to launch the Australian RTV motorcycle. It used a slightly modernised reproduction Vincent engine in an Egli-style frame in capacities of 1000 cc and 1200 cc. They had electric start. After four bikes were built, the company went into voluntary liquidation towards the end of 1998" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_Motorcycles.
A pity because it looks rather nice.
RTV is now more widely recognised as silicone sealant - room temperature vulcanising
