Hey

Can anyone recommend a good bike mechanic in New Plymouth? I think it's time to call in the professionals.

I need my carbs tuned. (I think)

Thanks

Got told off for cleaning my spark plugs and trying to fix the bike myself.

Oh well.

Alan Delateau. I'm not sure about the spelling of his last name, look it up.

Great guy, a real bike enthusiast

Yer before he got contented with his body size lol.:msn-wink::eek:
He was a god on a honda and he was very well respected within the scene.
A top class rider with a standard (peasant) inflation level of his own importance level.

^^^ Yep ..... (I think I missed the word stated after your name on that last post!) ...but whatever, it still works!

He's definitely a good bugger, very lacking in ego :)

Don't let that put you off Judd as learning that stuff is one of the pleasures of owning bikes. If a bike shop gives ya shit about it then find another one.
This De Lautour guy sounds like a gem and they are getting increasingly rare these days so take the previous posts advice and give him a try.

from all accounts,i think that n.p. mc centre needs a fire set under their arse.whenever i've been in there, they seem pretty dis-interested,and i hear of a lot of people that are not happy with them.

if all else fails,i know a bike mechanic who does homers in hawera.
he's a great guy to have on the job.he's got a real passion for what he does, and he doesn't cost the earth.

if you want more details, let me know, and i'll p.m. ya.
