Hi to all,I have a 1990 ZZR250 that is in real need of a service,I can do oil changes, plugs, basics etc, but she has done a few K's now and needs more but I just dont have the skills, the problem is that I have 5 incredibly money draining children and just cant afford what garages are asking for. What i am looking for is anyone who does work on bikes at good rates that I could afford,if there is anyone out there who can help, please let me know.
Cheers all and good riding!!

I know what you mean man. Some rediculous prices, but your bike is not the worst for this, that's for sure.
what do you mean by 'service'? Valve clearance and carb balancing? Unless there is something wrong with it, some might say just leave it.
Get a haynes manual and do it yourself. that teaches you valve clearance and carb balance.

Download the workshop manual - it is in the sticky link.
It is a pretty easy bike to work on - maybe come around in the weekend. Bring parts, old clothes and beer. Sorry, don't accept children as payment - got my own financially hungry offspring...
