View Full Version : Hyosung NZ contact details?

I'm trying to contact Hyosung NZ in order to send them a letter/email, and the ONLY contact details I can find, is an 0800 number through their website (http://www.hyosung.co.nz/index.php).

Any idea of how I can get in touch with them in text form rather than spoken? If I communicate with everything written down, and prepared, I find it easier to get across an issue i'm quite emotional about.

Try communicating through their office window with a fucking Molotov cocktail.

Edit: If you want a more sensible suggestion, call Mt Eden MC and ask for their Hyosung contact info.

Ring them and ask.

Or go to the companies office website and see that the only record they have for "Hyosung" has been struck off.

Or dig their DNS and find the *real* importer:

registrant_contact_name: Motorcycle Distributors Limited
registrant_contact_address1: PO Box 22139
registrant_contact_address2: Otahuhu
registrant_contact_city: AUCKLAND
registrant_contact_province: Auckland
registrant_contact_postalcode: 1640
registrant_contact_country: NZ (NEW ZEALAND)
registrant_contact_phone: +64 9 2702600
registrant_contact_fax: +64 9 2702603

Then take *that* to companies office:

Address Details
Registered Office
148 St. Georges Road
Avondale
Auckland 0600

Address for Service
148 St. Georges Road
Avondale
Auckland 0600

and for bonus points the directors are...

DOBSON, Kenneth Murray
64 Staincross Street, Titirangi, Waitakere City
SCOTT, Richard Stephen
8 Arundel Street, Tauranga

They were only appointed in July so it would appear there has been a change in management - probably coinciding with the upping of the warranty to two years. Indeed, "Motorcycle Distributors Limited" is *owned* by "Motorcycle Distributors (NZ) Limited" which in turn is half owned by a trust held by an accounting firm and half by various members of the Dobson and Scott families. In other words, whoever used to run Hyosung NZ got bought out by the Dobson and Scott family trusts. Whoever the fuck they are.

I'd put their phone numbers up except you wanted to write. So, hey, go ahead - knock yourself out.

Oh, what a smart cookie you are. I got as far as the struck-off Hyosung entry at the Companies Office and never thought of checking the WHOIS records on their website.

Have at them, Gubb!

Be careful believeing old DNS records, that DNS entry is showing the details for Kwakasaki who i believe no longer import them (got told off by japan).

Don't know who the new importer is though...
