Just wanted to get some opinions and maybe some help with this. Some of you know the problems i have been having with my bike. I had it shipped down with all the stuff from my parents house, and the moving company screwed up both at the dock in Houston before it left the states and the dock here in Tauranga. They wrote down the wrong VIN# at both places and each one was also diferent from each other. Emailed the moving company about this 3 months ago and nothin changed. finnaly got tired of dealing with them so I went on to call MAF. I talked to a guy there and got the VIN# fixed but now it seems that it was never border checked. Moving company was suposed to take care of that but..... Anyway, the guy that I was talking to at the MAF office at the Rurakura Research Centre suggested I get something called a Application for Exemption from Border Check. I was just wondering if anybody else had to go this route with importing a bike, and if they had any problems later on if they did. And what is involved in that.

cheers
