Yep. The 14 ticked over 30,000kms last night as I headed north once again. What really really pissed me off was, I was determined to watch it tick over to 30,000, but when I next looked down (cause I was being sensible watching where I was going at warp speed of 100km hr at the time) it was reading 30,002km. Talk about wanting to rewind and do it again. I felt ripped off to say the least. Guess I have to wait for the big 50,000km to capture the moment again. Oh well, that means we have to keep the beast for another year.:niceone:

Criiiiiiiiiky...hard to believe we've owned a bike for that long!
Outstanding road bike and have yet to be able to find that suits our needs worthy to replace it

Nice work, 30,000 kilometres of fun aye, can't ask for anything more than that!

 That's what I love to read! People getting out and about on their rides and using them for ... riding! Bugs, stone chips, road-work splashes, jousting with cagers and reading the lie of the road ...
On ya Unit, one of the ridiest ridey girls I know! :niceone:

Bugger, I've only done 25,000 on the Connie in about the same time. About 2k on the VTR since I've had her too.
Best get out there a bit more then...

My mum told me to beware of girls like that.......
Good for you - I turned over 8,000 last weekend. Owned for the same amount of time. YOU WIN.
One question - whats wrong with 40,000kms - is 50k the new 40?

Easy, let Unit ride it only, and she probably won't send it down a road on its side
Not bad at all... I guess you're used to her by now. If I keep up my current rate of 3000km per month (2 months so far), I'm going to eclipse that, and its my second bike, there is the hornet for work, 5 days a week. ;)

Not bad though. Doesn't take too many Rusty rides to clock up the k's...

Clocked over 10K on my scoot over the weekend. Get a lot of grief from the guys at work about how dirty it gets and how I don't clean it.
Well fuck if I wanted something to clean all the time I would have bought a vase. It's a bloody bike to ride not an ornament!!

Well actually, no! All these Ks have been done between Tauranga and Whangarei, in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Coromandal. Just keep going round in circles actually :stupid:

This coming from the original ridiest rider I know, why thank you Im honoured. Have to be honest Chris has definitely spent some serious time on the 14 too. Ive had two flat tyres in that time, but only three sets of tyres thus far, a broken faring, damaged screen, broken headlight protectors, broken indicator lens, front (all of this mostly from following Chris ), but its still looking pretty mint.

Summers here, double that, more sunlight to do it in :msn-wink:

Well, its like 20,000, kinda, ya OK, anyone can do that, 40,000 sorta has the same feel, but the biggie is 50,000 will be in the next twelve months, AND thats the milestone to work the motor somewhat, you know, it will be run in by then :msn-wink:

Now thats funny. And 10,000ks on a scooter has got to be equivalent to 80,000ks on the 14, easily, you win that one no doubts.
