I'm so in  with this bike.
Having the tank blasted was so much easyer than sanding and seeing what the powder coating looks like i wish i had done the frame as well.
I just want to say a big thank you to classic zed

Neither of the two it's my road bike and he's not going any where near it.
I just have to get the nerve up to ride it i don't want to scratch it slipping on diesel at roundabouts. LOL

powder coating sure is the shit :)
i used to do it years ago,and we had a guy come in who restored bikes.
the first one he gave us to do,was a test for him to see if he liked it better then paint.
so we did a real primo job on it,by giving it a very light coat first, then baking it till it was tacky, then giving it a second thick coat.
he was astounded how well it came up,and started bringing all of his resto's to us after that.he said he was never going to paint them any more.
apparently, powder coating is meant to be 10 times more scratch, and chip resistent then paint.plus the other thing i liked about it,was the choice of colours was cool, and their finish was second to none.
mint looking bike man :)

At the end of the day it didn't matter how long it took because it's going to take me another 12 months to pick the courage up to ride it.
Besides pete said he was going to put the yellow fairings and tank on first so i don't scratch it:oi-grr:
And don't forget good things take a while to get here.

maybe from a woman's perspective, but if you own male ears it's more likely to be known as NAGGING or BITCHING.
Quit procrastinating and ride the bloody thing. Be sure to post up a good quality video of you doing a mint wheelie :jerry:
