Fantasy stuff.
Well over 200kph through the traps for me.
Ross tapped it right out. Sounded wicked.

Very tidy on the open road too. Light steering and very long legs.
I'll write it up on the KR site SAP. Got ads to finish first.

Call me a dumbass (everyone else does), but I don't get it?
Was that terminal speed at a quarter mile or tapped out in first gear.
That bike must do more than that at top end.

Sorry - Was speaking a bit shorthand between processing pdfs.
I saw 200+kph on the clock at the 'around about' the gate. Plenty more with than that with rolling starts.
But I was more cautious on launching than the boss - who really tapped it out in all gears.
Wind shear has never really been an issue to my gorila-like self till way more than that.

Personally nah - I like 'all roads' bikes and stuntability.
I do try and review bikes from the angle of someone who would buy the machine.
Not hard to understand why one would.

I just took off like I was at the traffic lights - road style - shifting 1,000 short of redline in all gears - and it read around 200kph at the quarter.

Sweet.
What times did it actually run? Was the strip prepped, or was it a slippery fishtailing start?

Green as grass - all of it.
Strip was as we found it, Ross didn't want burn outs or smoke for KR - and the bike had 30Km on it - (Yamaha were there and approved) - in fact suggested we maybe try repeat the exercise when it loosens up after a thousand.
RM commented on breaking traction into second. I have ballast.
My best was a mid 10 - self timed.

Not sure on why they governed it , maybe to be politically correct as the original can do 160 mph in stock form .

Probably due to any dickhead with a bike license in the USA being able to buy one :shit:
US bike sites crack me up, questions like -"I am new to biking, do you think I could handle a GSXR1000 as a learner bike?...."
The aftermarket will remove the governor ASAP :innocent:
I hope to see one in the flesh (yep all of it!) as I may change my opinion when I see it with my own eyes. Presently I am very disappointed in its physical.

Oi I'm serious. 0 to 220kph in 400 meters, is that fast? Is it as fast as a Hayabusa? I can't compare you see.
