My poor little Volty spat the dummy and is in Holeshot at the moment getting sorted out. The cheapest option for me would be to get them to take out her entire engine and replace with another one. (GN250 and Volty bits are pretty much interchangeable.)
Alternatively they can rebuild her with second hand parts. I will post the parts list here as soon as I hear from Holeshot.
Thanks in advance!

Get it away from Holeshot, me and any number of other fools can swap over a whole engine easily enough if you get one and it won't cost you nowt.
What needs to be replaced if not the whole engine (EDIT: I'll read your post next time )? Get some bits off Squiggles -- if it's vertically split crankcase even a numpty like me can do that.

Update: The price for Holeshot to rebuild the engine is prohibitive ($1700 :weep:) so I'm definitely looking for a whole new engine. Let me know if you see a GN250 engine in good working order - or a whole GN with a good engine as long as it's cheap! Thanks!
PS to all the GNs at the BRONZ toy run at the weekend, sorry if you noticed me eyeing you up with a spanner in my hand...

UPDATE:
Donor bike has been purchased, Holeshot will do the surgery ASAP. I will let you all know what other bits are available once I've made use of what I need for the Volty.

No - I bought one in a private sale from nallac's workmate. It had been sitting in his shed for a couple of years unwarranted and unregistered, so I think he was glad to turn it into a bit of cash!
