Race clip-ons?

I've been looking at different clip ons for a bit now and have some questions to those in the know.
I like the idea of separate tubes for easy replacement, have found some at a good price that have solid alum bars versus hollow.
Whats the peferred type?
Solid or hollow?
Why?
Do I need the weighted bar ends to stop vibes?
7 degrees seems to be the popular angle for aftermarket bars?

I'm guessing....and don't mistake me for one of those "in the know" that the solid ones would be better cause they would be a bit heavier...hence less 'vibes' without the need for barends......maybe:whistle:

and make sure you order a spare as well

With a damper like yours its cool to be without the bar end weights. The important thing is to ensure they are solid at the end and not a tube, tubes are a no no . (they dig into the ground in a crash)

A "named "set is not crutial but well made is desirable.

I like the set Phil Snowden used to have on his SV 650 as they snapped away ( connicle joints) and could be tightened again back to the correct location .
