Just looking on trademe and there are SE and SP models advertised. What's the difference between the SP and the SE? Which is best? And is the R model the standard one?

Already looked. Fuckall on wikipedia and nsr world (best site found on google) just states the years and colour schemes of the SP's and occasionally says one thing like "the SP had the rothman racing replica colours and gold magnatec wheels" but doesn't differentiate between the SE and SP

nsr's are fucking mean. Go honda 2 stroke! the sp/se all have dry clutch. fully adjustable suspension. R is standard. your right the sp has magtec wheels!

sp is the 'best'.

only difference between se and sp is the expensive magtec wheels on the sp version...

they brought the se version out so buyer can save money... it has all the same clutch and suspension but has the standard R wheels.

they all have different paint schemes tho i think. thats why some are so expensive- like the pentax paint scheme and rothmans- both of them are there in cyclespot honda... bloody nice machines. all very limited.

nsr's rock!

....but i prefer HONDA FORCE V4!

Yea pretty nice pretty pricey. Theres a '93 ( I think) rothmans replica on there for over 10K. Might start looking at the ones from dealers for around 6.5 thou if my plan to start racing my zxr in streetstock fall though, otherwise I can't afford it. Ok so SP best, SE a watered down SP for price albeit not much difference. Good thing I checked, I thought super sounded better then special haha

bear in mind the SP/SE models are heavier than the R model. They do not have any extra power/engine specs either. However this difference is only marginal.

Maybe worth it for the fully adjustable shocks and dry clutch. Look good too :)
With the Magtek wheels, are they lighter than usual or what? Would have thought the SP's would be lighter than. But maybe the adjustable suspension cancels out any weight loss. Assuming they're heavyer than on the R model which would be normal. Magtek rims have a 'bling' factor, too lol
