Well, yesterday after work I go to ride home to find that my right mirror glass lying in a smashed heap beside the bike. :brick: :angry2:

I couldn't believe it, some arsehole has intentionally done it. It was in the bike parks in a parking building. The mirror that was smashed was right next to a concrete wall which no one would use to walk through, so it can't have been an accident.

Stuff like this pisses me off so much. If only I could have caught the low life doing it.

Sorry, just had to vent. :niceone:

Found a guy trying to steal my bike once. he had pulled apart the main wireing harness and was trying to hot wire it I think. I can't remember a whole lot from after i walked up and spotted him just a lot of red behind my eyes and then the guy was being put into an ambulance and I was being interview by the cops.

So is it possible to get a new bit of mirror glass and they can put it in the existing housing?

Luckily Texas has a law that if you catch someone vandalizing your property you are within your legal right to do whatever you want to them short of killing or permanent injury. Otherwise I would be in jail right now instead of enjoying this beutifull weather here in NZ.

And it should be posible to get a new mirror instaled in the existing housing I dont see why it wouldnt be possible.

Mirror replacement: If you can replace the wing mirror on the side of the car (which mine was last year) then you should be able to do it for a bike as well.
Mine only needed the MIROR itself replaced. They just take out all broken pieces and cut a new one to fit in.
