It all started with a RD250 it had single pot calipers and twin discs up front that didn,t really accomplish much ( had to use the both feet on the ground technique) was a very faded orange colour and had so many k,s on the the clock that the clock had given up keeping track any more. As happens with high milage no maintainance 2 strokes it eventually disintergrated a piston at full noise, siezed and parked in a paddock of surprised sheep via a five wire fence. It was ugly it was loud and annoying as only a 2 stroke can be, it didn,t handle it frequintly didnt go and when it did go it needed more run of than a 747 to stop all in all I had a love hate relationship with that bike I loved it and Im pretty shore it hated me. If you can find one ( not likely) buy it but dont ever ride the thing. Five stars for grin factor and one star for chances of survival.
