Hiya peeps,
I need some new front rotors for my GSX1400 03, got a bad case of warpiness.Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some reasonably priced good quality ones please.
I've been quoted $600 for one fitted from the local shop :eek5: and the only ones I've found on the web are a bit iffy quality wise and or too expensive to ship and too long to wait.
I'd prefer wavy ones, cause they're pretty but it comes down to cost and speed of delivery.
Any help would be mucho appreciated. Thanks Mart :scooter:

See if they're on the metalgear site... if so, about $300 each, probably another $50 each for wavy style ones.

Steve Bridge at F1 Engineering is a real good bastard, Marty. A very clued up and helpful guy. He'll see you right

Hi mate, failing all the above, give Greg at Boyd motorcycles in Hamilton a bell, he can do a set for about $600 and I think that included pads!

My understanding is that straightened discs will warp again fairly quickly.

Yes, I gotta say I understand that were in a small country population wise and it's all supply and demand driven but man it's hard to track stuff down sometimes.
The geezer at the suzi shop said there is one (count them) one OE rotor in the country for my ride.It just gets a little frustrating ya know.

I suspect your right, if I've gotta go to the hassle of fitting em I might as well fit new ones, when I eventually find some. cheers mate.

Victoria Motorcycle Wreckers in Melbourne are good to deal with, and tho 2nd hand, the prices are reasonable

Good thing about Suzuki parts though, Marty, is that they only take about 10 days max to get here from Japan anyway

Any bike shop in NZ should be able to get the Metalgear rotors, about $600 including pads. I wouldn't bother with second hand or straightened.

They need to be relatively fast though because their Parts Warehouse for car AND motorbike bits is no larger than a small garden shed.
Hell they even ran out of oil filters and genuine coolant there for a while!
