Well here goes my 1st real posting attempt. Had my bike 2 months now & done a couple of Whiti to Wahi which was cool. Yesterday though i got asked by 7 other local bikers to go on a ride with them, hell yea im in,lol
We left Whiti at 8.30 then to Tairua for a coffee & break. Tairua to Kopu was a good ride..never thought of doing it on a bike before, at Kopu another break & an o/j .
We were going to stop at Tapu for a drink but the pub wasnt open so we carried on to Coromandel going through a police stop checking wof & reg & licences, all good there.
Last stretch Coro to Whiti & that was a great stretch also.
Brilliant day, great company, great scenery but as always the roads on the Coromandel are absolute crap.
Anyhoo plan to do it again soon.:clap:

Sounds like a nice ride! How long did it take you all up?

I went test riding bikes.. perfect weekend for it :rockon: and now today I'm going up to hopefully buy one! :woohoo:

We were gone about 5 hours all up, yea great day for it just a shame about the road conditions.
Sounds cool..what sort of bike are you going to to get??

I just got it - a ZX636. Enjoying every minute of it. Can't wait for my next ride!

Sounds blinding mate,

I have rellies in that neck of the woods and will be chugging over from Auckland soon for a visit.

If you see a fat git on a VL250 with absolutley no style whatsoever, that'll be me
