Woot....Merry Xmas the Tester from AA Lower Hutt said as he cut my old licence in half and handed me the magical piece of paper....:)

**Tip for anyone else going for their Full.....Include the tester's vehicle as a hazard when doing the identification part of the test.

Was basically the same as the restricted test. Just a bit longer. Turn here, turn there, U turn please. Do the hazard id sections then into the 70k zone and STOP. No motorway (didn't want to take too much of my time up.:)

...So Let the test riding begin.....:shifty:

Take a sit on a CBR600RR, very similar position to GT250R if you got used to that.

The GSX650F is brilliant.

Then again, not brilliant enough. I bought a Striple. Test one of everything.

Dave

Will be using the Hyo as trade. Kinda going to miss it actually. Has been and still is a great bike. Trouble free since I bought it, so thats always gotta be a plus.

Yeah it feels great. Don't have to worry about the restriction on driving hours that I had. Even with an exemption, I only got 45 mins to get home from work after 10pm or at 3 am in the morning. Now I can ride at night, and not have to worry about time restrictions. And riding at night is something I enjoy doing.

Yes, indeed will include a Triple in the test riding, as well as several other bikes. But will end up with something that will handle two up riding, commuting and touring. The other half not too keen on sitting way up in the air on skinny little pillion shelves. :)

Funny that, never gave it a seconds thought when I got mine.

But well done anyway.

Yeah Scummy, never gave it a thought when I got my car or truck licence. But was a different kind of feeling getting to the Full Bike licence stage. Probably cause of having to go through so many stages to get there. BHS, L Test, then the restricted, then the Full test. Plus all the time in between, learning, riding, experiencing new things on a daily basis.

And when I upgrade, will be learning a lot more as well. By way of increased power at the throttle, increase in bike weight and handling characteristics.

Strange how most do that for a bike, but some don't really give it much thought when jumping from car to car.
