Auckland - Wanganui for Boxing Day Races

I'm going to be heading down in the car on the afternoon of Christmas Day. I have one, possibly two spare seats for people wanting a lift down.

Free accomodation for two nights, the catch is that you have to pay your share of fuel for the trip there and back.

We may also end up coming back via the Taupo Road Race Spectacular - but the details are yet to be finalised.


The accomodation is with my extended family - Chrislost/Macstar can vouch for their hospitality - you will need to bring an airbed/stretcher and a sleeping bag.

You're a real plonker arent ya. First "what days is the party?" on the "new years party thread", and now "what days are the races?" for Boxing Day races!

The Wanganui Street Races are on BOXING DAY, the 26th of December. I will then be travelling to The Road Race Spectacular at Taupo - racing is on the 27th, 28th and 29th. Camping at Taupo Racetrack is FREE for hte 27th & 28th.

Will return to Auckland on the evening of the 29th, or possibly stay another night and cruise back on the 30th.
