Parking near Viaduct Harbour?

Hmm...due to supplier sheer bloody incompetence I've just found out I've got to go to Auckland tomorrow. Don't know if I can use their car park soooooo. Looking for secure all day bike parking around the CBD, namely Viaduct Harbour Avenue?

Can I put a sock over the numberplate and park on the pavement or is that a big no no in the city?

There's bike parks on the wharves.

Look up the Downtown carpark. Heaps of free bike parking.

Just drive around the end of the entry/exit barriers.

You can park bikes on Viaduct Harbour Av opposite vodafone, just out side the Westin Hotel.. Not covered, but pretty safe there..

There is also a car park in Packenham Street but Downtown is free, safe and busy. It's also closer to the Danny Doolans pub.

Or if you want a dry park, just drive under Vodafone and Microsoft and park in the basement with the other bikes.. :)
