Hey folks a bit of a heads up --Im heading up to managawhai on new years eve.
On NEW YEARS DAY
Weve got a few acres of forest. We usually have a kids loop track up there. Its all on our land so noone can kick us off.
So if anyones got a couple of kids and wants a place to have a QUIET ride hey feel free to come up and join us.
It takes my kids about 2 minutes to do a loop on their pw80's to give you an idea of how big it is
I've got a thread going in meetings and events
the place is down Pacific road-off of black swamp road

I've got a couple of XR100's and my 2 kids have probably clocked up maybe 4 hours riding time each. They've venturing into 3rd gear at tractor pace now. Although I've grown up with dirt bikes I have probably clocked up 6 hours in the last 16 years so haven't as yet found my groove or fitness. I'd be nannying around the track with them probably popping a wheely or 2 here and there while sussing out my inner ear calls. Dunno if this constitutes being in the class you're talkin about but happy enough payin a social visit and offering my bikes as riding fodder.

#update#
oops just realised, it's my wifes birthday on the 1st! I'm sure she won't want to spend her special day travelling in a car just to end up watching bikes go round and round and round a track. You planning on doing it other days around the same time?

OMG Tracey (wifee) would be really interested once she hears there's a beach nearby! We've even gone an bought a 6 person tent in anticipation for the Raglan Kids Ride in March so this could be seen as a good practice run ...seeing as you've offered!;)

We will be there, hopefully between 9 and 10, depending on how motivated that kids are in the morning.

I also have a feeling that we will not be out of here until around 8:30 to 9 at earliest. We will be stopping for petrol at the BP before silverdale turn off, if we don't see you on the way will see you when you get there.

well finally made it home safe and sound. Kids are shattered. Still had enough energy to chase Frosty down the hydroslide at Waiwera.

Had an awesome time with everyone on Thursday. It was great to see so many kids having fun outside in the fresh air.

Proud moments for the two days.

1 William doing alot of the work on his own bike.
2 Alex riding a bike with a clutch.
3 Christina not only riding a pw50 but then jumping on the pw80!!
and the best of all

4 Matthew having his first real ride on a 2 wheeler.
