Firstly, i want to have a debate on this
Sidewinders crash thread (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=86755)
this crash was not fatal or serious, however, our mods got anal about it, and banned me for re-posting it, even though i told them it was not fatal or serious.
once banned i could not change anything.
i got the friends and family bullshit (yeah, like his family are on here)
so site rules did not apply here, because of the less than serious nature of the crash, but these chumps all assumed it to be serious.
so what can we do about overbearing moderation on less than serious issues, like this?
should the mods have less power?

Yeah, possibly, however you've overlooked Spankme's rule #1 ( and popular quote
KB IS NOT A DEMOCRACY.
It is a fascist dictatorship and he is head fascist.
So good luck getting the mods to do what your particular opinion may be

We could always ditch the crash threads altogether.

Your an attention seeking nublit and are treated accordingly.
Not that I have any problem with that, But ya can't complain when you get the attention your craving for.

You don't want to have a serious discussion on this at all. Your intention in starting this thread, I venture to suggest, is no different to any other thread you have ever initiated, which is either to troll or to shit stir. If you want to be taken seriously on this site, then by your deeds you shall be judged. My jury is still out on that matter.
If you had any regard at all for sidewinder, then your first reaction after his "accident" wouldn't have been to rush to the nearest computer, log on to Kiwi Biker and start what was at that time a highly speculative thread.
It is exactly that sort of behaviour that has led this site over many years to develop a policy and guidelines for members and moderators on what are commonly referred to as "biker down" threads.
You were warned about this immediately after your first thread was quarantined by the Mods. And again after each subsequent occasion you attempted to post. Indeed such was your persistence you even used other members' accounts to access the site after your temporary banning for petulant behaviour deliberately intended to subvert the site's rules.
Now you're back spitting shit and piss and demanding to be taken seriously.
You, sir, are a constant irritation. If it was possible to ban members for wasting Moderators' time, I suspect you would still have some time left to serve.

I saw your thread, It was written in such a way to get the attention of those that monitor crash threads, Thus it was removed untill they were satisfied.
Tough shit for you.
If you had written in the initial post that he was perfectly fine then nothing would have happened, Instead you wrote how you saw him slide into a guard rail but couldn't elaborate on his condition due to site rules.
But pointing this out is pointless, You know it already, The thread worked exactly as planned, It got you some attention, Just like this one ....

i did tell you it was not serious or fatal, yet the mods quarantined it.
So given your history of posts on KB did you really think a Mod would be able to discern if you were being factual or not?
Or whether in fact you were just trying to draw attention to yourself. In this instance the Mods did what the rules of the site clearly state.

OK, I just did. here was your first post, and the one that caused the thread to quarrantined until more details were available
sidewinder came off today
saw him and his bike slide into the armco...
due to the nature of the crash i cannot say anymore, untill i have permission
Now, under the site rules, the only reason you can't say more is if its serious or fatal. This post did not make that clear, and subsequent posts appeared to change the story each time.
Then there was:
dude, he was in the mormon few stunt crew....
Note your use of the word was!
Followed by:
i have done all i can about sidewinder...
seen his parents today, collected the bike
but like i said, i cant say any more at the mo...the mods are all over it
il put a post on sportsbike
You want a debate? Then lets put the information out there.

Ha this forum seems like a total holiday camp compared to a forum from home called biker.ie
It has a section called ""buswalds" which is like its own internal prison camp. You can end up in there from a few hours to a few months at a time and when in there you cant send or recieve pm's or post in any other section. The reasons for ending up in there could be anything from abusing fellow members to posting pictures of cars or someimes when the mods get drunk or just feel like a laugh you just end up there for no reason at all. But one great thing about it is everyone knows about it and knows they can bribe there way out by posting boobie pics:clap:
