There aught to be a law to stop travesties like that.

OMG "This is a hard tail". In other words, we took the rear suspension off.

They should be shot.

Looks like a parts bin special that is nothing special... Except a waste of a perfectly adequate machine...

OMG "This is a hard tail". In other words, we took the rear suspension off.
Wouldn't that mean it was unroadworthy (no WOF or certification?)

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong wrong! There should be a law!
Wrong, its just ugly an 89 900SS is wrong,an 89 750 sport with the rear cylinder head stuck on back to front with a weber carb that should have been on a car stuck in the V was wrong.

There's a lesson to be learnt here...

Horses are nice animals - just don't take their drugs!

No animals were harmed during the transformation. Can't say the same about bikes...

I'm sure it handles well and think of all those chicks you'd be able to pull.

Question: Does that come in "Hetro"?

James Deuce
15th December 2008, 15:20
That thing is so irreverent it borders on comic genius. It's nearly worth $27k just to see the look on Lynda Blair's face.

I dunno I kinda like it, but kinda in the same way I'd want one of the badge labelled Harley 2 stroke trail bikes.

So there's a, what? $5000 bike with some big bars on it & a bodge hardtail & rough paintwork. How did they come up with $27k? Even as an indication price?

Still looks better than that abortion the factory came up with in the 80s that I'm not even going to try & google.

Here's one that at least looks the part. If that's your thing of course, . . . which it's not.

Nothing new - bloke I knew choppered an 860ss in 1977.

Recently I have seen several complete 'dungers' ridden by the younger set - because they were rebelliously cool.

They are entirely desirable to them because it fucks the establishment off. They didn't pay 27k for them though.

Ducati did make a cruiser a few years back and wisely stopped making it.
That bike is so wrong in so many ways.
It might sell at $2700 for parts, but for $27000 you could buy a new 848 or 2 999's(one for the road, one for the track).
It wont sell...period!
