Just thought I'd alert you all to a new signaling method. If you are waiting to turn out of a junction and the car approaching from the right gives no indication, check the passenger, you may find the driver, encumbered with urning the wheel as well as using his mobile has left it to the passenger to wave his hand about indicating a left turn. Just not enough arms for some people. No wonder we're not allowed to carry guns:argh:

Is this in relation to an event that has happened to you recently.
Did i miss this part in the road code, where it says you can drive while talking on the phone at the same time :)

Back in the Good Old Days (before indicators) you used to put your right arm out the window to indicate right. When you were going left you would put your right forearm horizontally in front of you with your hand pointing left. There were no brake lights either so you would put your right arm out the window, bent at the elbow, to indicate you were stopping.
People have got soft these days with all those automated contraptions to do the work for you. Bring back hand signals I say.*
Of course in those days there were no cell phones to drop out the window... and whoever thought of drinking coffee when you were driving?! People would have thought you were mad if you suggested it.

Yes - but I'd need a couple of people to help hold him down while the anaesthetic kicked in.
