Okay - can someone clear this up for me. I was dating a tosser (who's KB handle will remain private :whocares:) who used to have a go at me for saying Gixxer with a g sound like giraffe . He would tersly say it's Gixxer with a g sound like goat. Anyhoo, since the tosspot dumped me I have met some really awesome KBer's who say Gixxer with the g sound like giraffe like I say :woohoo:. What is they way it should be said or will it be easier to stick with saying GSXR ha

Yeah, it's "jickser", so it sounds more alliterative when used with word like "jism".

You are more than welcome to say it however you want, if you own one, it's your perogitive.
You and GSXRTrace are the perfect women, both of you own Gixer's...
Is it too early in our relationship to propose? I mean, if my racebike were to have a problem, I could steal parts from yours - it'd be a match made in heaven...

I was speaking to a group of Italians one day and tried to raise the bike in question as a topic. They had great difficulty understanding what I was trying to say.
Then again if I went around saying Do-cart-ee as they did nobody here would understand me. And I have enough problems in that regard already...

Madbikeboy - the answer to your question all depends on how much of a tosspot you are. The bigger the tosspot the more you have a chance with me so my history says :jerry:

So, Mr Japanesexpert - how is it pronounced?
It used to was that most nooziunders said "sub ARR ooh", but that's incorrect; "soo bah roo" is right.
Or you could call them "Pleiades".

Oh, well this is doomed. You see, I'm a nice guy. This seems to be the one major charactor flaw that I have (aside from having a soft spot for sarcastic people and liking Gixers). Aparently women want to be treated like shit, ignored, or worse still, not be equals...

Yes those tend to be the men we find ourselves attracted to.
Ahh but in our defence - men don't seem to be able to handle a chick that earns more, has done more, has more and wants more, not to mention owns a bike that will shit all over theirs mwahahahahaha :jerry:

There is truth to that... I was going to post something funny, but actually, there's a lot of truth in that. I seem to find smarter women more attractive, puts me in the minority...
Oh, for the record, I say Gixer, soft G like Giraffe. And I own two, so I think I've paid my dues.

Well I think it is a forgone conclusion that the toss pot who dumped me should really get his facts right before going off at someone for saying it wrong when he is the one that is wrong.
Mind you - this was the guy that told me to never use my front breaks and always use the back ones :motu:

Hey, thats sounds like really excellent advice (to ignore). I use the back one to control wheelspin out of corners, it seems to be good for little else...
In his defence, tomato/tomahto. As for data - I say Dayta. Others say Dahta.
