Ben Thomasen Fun Day at Maddix Park Sunday 21st December

I know there is already a thread about Ben but I thought this thread may generate more interest and get more people to attend. I’ve attached the link but also pasted it into this post.

Maddix Park
465 Rowe Road Ohauiti Tauranga
Track time on MX tracks.
Trail loops open.
Top rider demo race at 1pm.
Spot prizes & raffles.

Cost: Juniors & Seniors $20, Minis $10, Families $50, Spectators gold coin donation. All funds raised will go to local Tauranga rider Ben Thomasen who was seriously injured at the MX nationals last week. This event is being organized by friends of Ben with help from Maddix Park, the Tauranga Motorcycle Club and local bike shops. It’s short notice so spread the word and come along and show your support for Ben’s cause.

A bit far to travel at short notice from where we are here, but I hope a few of the auckland KB'ers will make the effort to travel through .....

It’s extremely short notice. I only received the email on Saturday and have put it on our club’s and my web site. Hopefully there will be another similar event for Ben’s aid with a bit more notice.
