CDI unit wanted for 1980 sr400

Hello, i was wondering if anyone has a cdi unit for a 1980 sr400 for sale or if not are there any other models that i could use?? Im all out of ideas and would be appreciative of any help!!

it might pay to tell us how many pins are on your CDI

you could probably use a xt400 or xt500 cdi,
i dare say you could get any single cylinder cdi to work
the electronic advance may not be quite right, and the rev limiter may kick in too early or too late, but i bet you could get it running decently :D

sr500 loom on ebay, the 400 is basically a sleeved down 500

I would say he is right in that any single cylinder CDI would work. Taking time to figure out different colour codes of the different makes. Nice day outside :niceone:
