I was raised in ChCh but grew up in old fishing huts, batches, forestry huts etc - there was always an old Man magazine or a well thumbed old soft porn mag, old pinups etc - Betty was something special, a really really sexy woman - and nice with it, waaaay sexier than MM or whatever. Man - if I was ever going to fly a bomber over germany she was going on the nose!

Damn shame - when she gave it all up and found religion etc she never let her picture be taken again so as not to ruin the memory - even though she was far from rich. And heres the odd thing, for all the scumbag celebrity paparatzi out ther - you never ever saw a picture of the old betty - such was her legend no one wanted to ruin it I guess.

I doubt we will look back on the bimbettes of the playboy mansion with such fondness in the decades to come?

RIP Betty Page - you made a lot of people very happy....

aww RIP Betty!

even though I'm one for Betty Grable more than this betty, it's still sad. though living to a ripe old age of 85 isnt a kick in the pants for the lass!
